Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most home installs in central Scotland fall between €800 and £1,500, depending on the charger you choose and how complex the wiring run is. We always provide a fixed price in writing before any work starts. No surprise costs.

  • A typical install takes 3-4 hours on the day. From enquiry to completed install, most jobs are finished within 1-2 weeks, subject to charger stock availability.

  • The OZEV EV chargepoint grant is currently available for people living in rented properties or flats, and for landlords and businesses. Homeowners in single-occupancy houses are not currently eligible. We'll confirm your eligibility during the quote process.

  • It depends on your EV, how often you drive, and what features matter to you. We install Ohme, Zappi, Hypervolt, Wallbox, EO, Pod Point and other major brands. During your free survey we'll walk through your options and recommend what fits your needs.

  • The vast majority of UK homes can only support 7kW charging because they have a single-phase electricity supply. 22kW chargers need a three-phase supply, which is rare in domestic properties. We'll check during the site survey and let you know what your home supports.

  • Sometimes. If your existing fuse board is older or doesn't have spare capacity, we may need to upgrade it. We'll tell you upfront during the survey and include any extra costs in your quote.

  • Every charger comes with the manufacturer warranty - typically 3 years. We also guarantee our workmanship for 2 years from install. If anything isn't right with the work we've done, we'll fix it.
